about
According to Tantric tradition, the human body has 7 chakras, or energy centers, which each serve a specific function. When a chakra is out of balance – overactive or underactive – it creates disharmony in your life. This free download is to balance the root chakra.
The root chakra is located at the base of the spine. Its function relates to our basic survival needs and sense of belonging in families and as part of the greater whole. When this chakra is in balance, or unblocked, energy flows freely through it, bringing feelings of security and faith that we can fill our needs with ease. When it’s blocked, feelings of anxiety, money worries, and other disease reign.
The root chakra relates to our physical identity, survival, stability, instinctual nature, ambition, and self-sufficiency. In balance, it leads to feeling grounded, centered, committed and independent, with energy and vitality, strength and stillness, and good digestion. Imbalanced, it can cause us to feel ungrounded, fearful, angry, insecure, obsessed with comfort, alienated, and possessive. Physical symptoms are often insomnia, low energy, lower back pain, sciatica, constipation, depression, immune-related disorders, obesity, or eating disorders.
This chakra is our connection to the earth. It gives us signals within so as to warn or encourage us about an action or thought processes we are about to engage in. Anxious or other uncomfortable feelings indicate that we should be aware and reconsider whether these thoughts or actions will benefit us in attaining what we truly want. Pleasant sensations invite us to continue, as the chosen path will lead to positive outcomes or circumstances.
